Celebrating The Life of Carlton Lloyd Reid
Carlton Lloyd Reid was born in West Kingston, Jamaica. Sadly, he departed this life on Sunday May 15th 2022.
He attended shops and assisted in welding, carpentry, and other types of mechanical engineer work at an early age.
Soccer was one of Carlton's favorite sports. He would be played intensely while living in Jamaica brushing paths on the field with the late Bob Marley. Carlton wasn't a man that was heavily into school, but he would make sure to surround himself with other men that were on the right path. These people would always make sure they were doing something positive, similar to what he was doing in his life.
Also, he was a man that would observe and mimic any task if you let him, and learn exactly what you're doing.
Carlton migrated to Toronto, Canada, in 1973 and brought with him all of the skills and trades he learned while growing up in Jamaica. These are the same skills and trades he would use to sustain his family. Coming from Jamaica, Carlton brought with him his talent for playing soccer. He played for many soccer teams and the last team he played for was the (The Mello Strikers).
Carlton was also a music man, a collector, and DJ just like most of his associates. He enjoyed flying kites, watching BET comic view, building, constructing, and developing his ideas into reality. A real trades man.
Carlton is survived by his wife Yvonne, children grandchildren, and sisters. He will be sadly missed by all of us.
