Obituary of Lylis Florence Ursula Depradine
Ms. Lylis Florence Ursula Depradine, age 88, passed away Wednesday evening, November 20, 2019, at Providence Healthcare. She was born October 6, 1931, in St. Georges, Grenada, to Ivan Depradine and Ivy Julien.
Lylis is survived by her sister Jean Small; Sister in law, Daisy Depradine; her only son, Leonard Noel; two granddaughters, Melissa Noel and Jelane Noel; and one great granddaughter, Janiya Steele along with many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Predeceased siblings – Norris, Lancelot, Dorothy and Lincoln.
She migrated to Canada in August 1965 and worked as a Dietary Technician at Toronto General Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoyed travelling and loved watching hockey, baseball, soccer and wrestling, and spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchild.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium, 737 Dundas Street East (at Cawthra), Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5. Viewing 10AM – 11AM. A funeral service will be held from 11AM – 12:15PM, after which there will be a Private Cremation.
