Obituary of Daphne Icyl Bednarek

Daphne Icyl Bednarek passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 23rd, 2018 at Scarborough General Hospital with her son Gary and husband Ted with tear filled eyes by her side holding her hands. Daphne was their greatest love of their lives which words alone cannot describe. She was a kind, loving, selfless person. She will be sorely missed by dearest family Diane, Heather, Shannon, Bill and Richard and her loving and endearing friends Sandra, Marlene and Thomas. She had a special devotion to Ste Anne de Beaupré and Ste Thérèse of Lisieux. Her memories of her career as a nursing assistant always brought back wonderful thoughts of the elderly people she cared for. She is now united in Heaven with her mother Alice Kishundulari, her father Barclay and a very close friend Margaret. Daphne, we will love you forever and wrap our arms around you in Heaven. And may Ste Anne once again place her hands on your shoulders and lead you to prayer. Family and friencds will be received at the Covenant Funeral Homes (Balmoral Chapel) 2505 Eglinton Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario, M1K 2R on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 12, 2018 from 11:00am to12:00 pm. Entombment to follow at  the Mausoleum of The Risen Christ at Pine Hills Cemetery 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K 1R1 (Entrance off Kennedy Rd, North of St Clair ). We are asking for no flowers. If anyone wishes to do so, we would appreciate donation to Daphne's Church for masses for her:
