I had the pleasure of working with Darrell for only a short time, and our work is arduous under normal circumstances, now it seems particularly so. Yet, Darrell seemed to bear our travails with ease. I would often hear him working high in the scaffold above me, singing and laughing. I have a measure of comfort, and can smile a little thinking of him even now, safe in the knowledge that he is still high above me, singing and laughing.

PEACE PRAYER
Sovereign Lord Jesus we loved our relatives and friends but you loved him more. We thank you for seeing it fit to place him into our lives. Thank you for the times we shared with him. It’s still very hard to believe I’m writing this. You were a stand up guy since the first day I met you. Always very calm and collected but showed the most energy every time on the basketball court. What’s crazy to me is even when we played ball a few months ago you were still in top shape while the rest of us could barely breathe. My Godson, you have left me with some fond memories. I remember as a baby you would cry until all the muscles in your face would enlarge, the sweat was running down your face like a river.
