To the loving McIntosh family. How it breaks my heart that I couldn't physically be amongst the family at this time. Papa was like my papa as well. The smile and the jokes over the years filled heart and soul. When I give an example of a loving family its always the McIntosh family. When I think of a long loving couple it always Mama and Papa Mack. Papa will always be in my mind, heart and soul. He's smiling and now watching to make sure that the family continues to stay close. Love you all. Jacqueline Taffe

The hardest thing a parent has to do is give into faith that they did all that they could when they let their children hand go. The hardest thing a child has to do is let go of that parents hand believing that they are now in a better place. Papa was someone who accepted me for who i was and where i came from. His unconditional love provided me with strength even though i did not show it much. I appreciated the person he was and the people he raised and the love and strength he provided.
My heart hurts but this isnt goodbye. Its to see you again one day. Love you papa♡

Mrs. Judith, I remember when I first saw your "papa" oh how I could not get over how much you look like him. I know how much you love him. My deepest sympathy to you and the entire McIntosh family. Be encouraged your papa's work on earth is done. He now rests in the arms of his Saviour. 2 Corinthians 5:8, tells us "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." May the Lord wipe away every tear and comfort you all with His Love and tender care during your time of grieve. Love and Prayers. Hayde and family

I only had the privilege of meeting Papa McIntosh once, during Christmas of 2018. So many of his children and grandchildren and other family members and friends were there, and we all sang Christmas carols with Papa around his bed until he got a little tired of us all in his room. I remember noticing how much all of his children and his wife loved him and catered to him, and I noticed a twinkle in his eye when I said goodnight to him. Although he didn’t say much, I could tell he was so appreciative to be surrounded and loved by so many of his family members. I remember admiring him as a true patriarch—a man with so many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who came to Canada as an immigrant and managed to keep his huge family together and loving each other so much. I know Papa is looking down proud at his legacy, with the same twinkle in his eye as he watches over the entire McIntosh family. My best prayers and wishes are with you all, and I pray that you all find strength during this difficult time.

Papa was a charming and welcoming man. Always ready for loved ones to play, a game of dominoes with him . At each meeting, I admired this love that he shared to each of his children, grandchildren ...
A man of heart without a doubt.

Mama a very special kiss just for you.

Hello everyone
I’ve met Papa a few times, but I really loved the time I spent with him.
The first time I saw him, otherwise from when I was a baby, was when we had the family reunion. My dad introduced me to him & he looked at me and smiled. Every time I saw him he always held my hand and talked to me. I could see that he was a caring and loving person. I could also see that his bond with my dad was very strong, that’s why I truly hope he’s in a better place
Love you all
