Obituary of Clitena Elizabeth Elson-Gardner

CLITENA ELIZABETH ELSON – GARDNER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clitena Elizabeth Elson - Gardner. She died on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at 5:10 PM at the Brampton Civic Hospital. She was 95 years old. A devoted and loving mother of eight children, three boys (Lauriston, Horace & Ainsworth) and 5 girls (Linna, Marcia, Sharon, Joan & Paulette), Andrea, (her first granddaughter - affectionately referred to as her last daughter), 2 son-in-law (Hezekiah, and Donald), 1 Daughter-in-Law (Leslene), 21 grandchildren, 32 great grand, 2 great great grandchildren, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, numerous nieces & nephews and countless extended family members and friends. Clitena was a generous, thoughtful, and loving lady who acknowledged the true value of the Word of God. She loved reading her Bible, travelling, meeting new people and staying connected with friends and loved ones across the globe on a regular basis. For many years she was a faithful member of the Malton Church of God of Prophecy where she was loved and appreciated. She left behind an enduring legacy of love for all who came in contact with her both in church and in her community. She will be dearly missed. The family of Clitena Elizabeth Elson - Gardner would like to extend a hearty THANKS to everyone for your endeavouring prayers, expressions of love and words of encouragement us during this difficult time.
