In Loving Memory of Felix Constantine McIntosh It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Felix McIntosh. Felix went home to Glory on Thursday April 8th, 2021. He passed away peacefully at home at the age of 89. Felix Constantine McIntosh was born on June 1, 1931 in Epworth St. Ann, Jamaica to Celia Louise Irons and Ishmael McIntosh. Felix was raised in a loving God-fearing home. He worked hard and made a career as a skilled mason. Upon emigrating from Jamaica to Canada in 1987, Felix continued his work in masonary but later changed employment to work full-time in Maintenance at Shoppers World Danforth. It is from there that he retired and enjoyed his 20+ years of retirement with numerous family members and friends. Felix is survived by his three children, Claudette, Derrick and Loren. He was greatly loved by his eight grandchildren, Claudia, (predeceased) Carlos, Danique, Kevaughn, Andre, Dushanda, Stefon and Michelle. He was highly adored by his six great-grandchildren, Tristan, Ajani, Aiden, Zion, Aaliyah and Jalen. He was respected by his in-laws, Milton, Sharon, Janice, Diane, Esma and Raul. Felix is survived by his two uncles, Daniel Irons (101 years old) and Walter Irons (103 years old). He was the loving brother of (predeceased sister) Eileen Brady. He cared for his nieces and nephews, Erick, Elizabeth, Louise and Lincoln and many other relatives and friends. Felix will be remembered fondly by many as a man who loved and devoted himself to his family. He will forever be cherished in our hearts. Felix loved people and therefore made friends easily. He was very social and had a proclivity for meet-ups with friends or spending hours talking on the phone with them. He was infamous for being active, and even up until his last weeks he enjoyed riding his bike, dancing, doing laundry by hand, and playing board games with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Felix was a magnificent man who will never be forgotten. Due to the pandemic and the current restrictions, family and friends are invited to view, via livestream, the viewing - Friday April 30, 2021 from 11am to 6pm and the funeral service - Saturday May 1, 2021 at 11am. A celebration of life will be planned once pandemic restrictions are lifted.
