Obituary of Gail Chapman- McKibbon

MCKIBBON, Gail (Chapman) Mckibbon, 74, of Scarborough, ON, passed away suddenly on April 25th 2021, at the Scarborough General Hospital. Born May 13, 1945, Gail was the daughter of late Gerald and Beatrice (Mae) Chapman, Truro, NS Gail very much enjoyed music, singing and playing both guitar and piano for all family gatherings and friends. She enjoyed camping and outings, and cooking, especially making Ed's favourite food, spaghetti. She very much cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren and her family will forever hold those precious memories in their hearts forever. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Edward J McKibbon, her daughter Rose Mary (Dwyer),son Eddy Jr., and grandson, Chad Dwyer. She is also survived by siblings, George, Derry, NH, Eldon, Truro, NS, and David, Barrie, ON, Doreen Trahan, Chatham, ON, Geraldine Wheten, Truro, NS, Esther Hare, Chatham, ON, Shirley Henderson, Truro, NS, Nova Chapman, Windsor, ON. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson, Eddy Dwyer, sisters, Leona Tam, Truro, NS, Donna Chapman, Chatham, ON, and brother Lloyd, Truro, NS. Memorial gathering will begin at 11:30 am On Thursday May 13, 2021, followed by a virtual funeral service will at 12 noon. Unfortunately, due to current COVID regulations set out by the Provincial Government and at the direction of The Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO), the funeral service will be limited to 10 family members only.
