Obituary of Simmone Keene Belgrave

BELGRAVE, Simmone Keene~ On behalf of the Belgrave family, it is with great sadness that we share the tragic news of the sudden passing of Simmone Belgrave on February 17th, 2021. She was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident while in Jamaica a week before her 39th birthday. She leaves behind her two sons, 15-year-old Leyland and 3-year-old Phoennix. Simmone was passionate about life, and wasn't afraid to act boldly. She brought excitement into the lives of her friends and family. She was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, and aunt. Her sudden and unexpected passing leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. We are working hard to bring her back home as soon as possible so that she can finally be laid to rest. Due to Covid, we know that it will be difficult for people to attend her funeral in person, so we have also set up a memorial page here for family and friends to share their thoughts and prayers. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on June 25th, between 1p.m. and 7p.m., for those who are able to and wish to say goodbye in person. Simmone's funeral will be held on Saturday, June 26th, at 11 a.m, also at Covenant Funeral Homes Inc. 2505 Eglinton Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario M1K 2R1 (PARKING AVAILABLE IN THE PLAZA ACROSS THE STREET). Burial will follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, 2505 Brock Rd, Pickering, ON L1V 2P8. Due to Covid19 protocols, only her immediate family will be able to attend in person, but the funeral will also be broadcast live on Covenant Funeral Homes YouTube page for people to attend virtually.
