To Francis Family
Sorry for the loss of your Francis.
I worked with Francis in the court. We had some interesting chats. A fond memory is us working to finish
the crossword puzzle he had started.
He had a very good attitude towards life. Sometimes when I met him at work and asked him how he was,
most often he would say " easy easy you have to go along easy easy."
I was retired from the court and 2 years ago I was walking near the court buildings and I looked down
University ave and I could see Francis. I caught up to him and gave him a hug and had a chat.

Sending all of my love to Francis' family. Francis was a gentle giant. He was unfailingly polite and caring. He loved talking about his family and his (also deceased now) friend Lyndon. Francis always had a quiet word for me and seeing him in court brightened every appearance. I am so very sad about his passing and will remember him fondly and often. May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him and were loved so very fiercely by him.
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of my friend. Waite was one of the gentlest cricketer I ever knew. Languid in movement, gentle with his words on the field. He will be missed. May God bless him always. Rest in peace my friend.

Francis was such a beautiful soul. Always the consummate gentleman; and my most favourite dancing partner at all of the Superior Court Christmas parties over the years. At the last pre-Covid Christmas party in 2019, we sat at the same table. Francis gave me his ticket…it won…and he insisted that I keep the prize, which was a Christmas sleigh with a bottle of wine and two crystal wine glasses. Such a sweet and kind person. Rest in Peace, dear Francis. You will be missed, my friend. God speed!
I knew Francis for more than 20 years through our work at the courthouse in downtown Toronto. He was unfailingly polite, courteous and helpful and I was always pleased when we were assigned to work together. His dry sense of humour was legendary, as was his passion for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was popular and well liked by staff and members of the judiciary. He will be missed but fondly remembered.
