I will like to offer my condolences to the family of Pedro who was a kind, humble and true gentleman. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I personally have known Pedro for some years from Trinidad through my parents and I visited Toronto on a few occasions and stayed by Denise where I have always felt welcome and at home.May his soul rest in peace.

To Moms, Denyse, David and the rest of the Reyes family, my sincere condolences to the family. I always remember when I lived abroad , I was like their second daughter. Pops was the most quiet humble

I met Mr. Reyes through his daughter Denise, who attended High School with me. I am happy I had the pleasure of sitting at his table at the LaPetite Musicale 50th Anniversary Gala in April. His warm smile every time he looked across the table at me, will forever be in my mind. He was such a pleasant man. Rest in Peace Mr. Reyes. My thoughts and Prayers are with the family in this time of grief.

Mi Pedro querido, i will always remember you with a beautiful smile. You will always be in our heart. I remember when i met you and we started talking in Spanish and since then everytime you saw me, you started to talk to me in Spanish. The funny thing is that sometimes you wanted to say something funny about others and you said it in Spanish to me because i was the only one around who understood you. I will always remember the times we danced merengue and you enjoyed so much. It was so easy for me to call you grandpa because even with the short period of us knowing each other I felt so comfortable calling you grandpa. You were so adorable and easy to love . Grandpa will always be in my heart. He was always there to greet me at the door and welcome me with his hugs. He would always call me his Indian grand-daughter. I am greatful to have had him in my life and I am at peace knowing he is with his maker.

To my extended family, the Reyes, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember the first time met Pedro, he introduced himself to me as Fredrick and I knew he was joking but from then forth that's all I ever called him. He was so funny. Always had me laughing. Such a happy man. I'll miss those things about him but I'm happy to know he's with our Lord.
